Luke & Lyla are Best Friends

To be honest I was a little nervous about how Luke was going to react to Ally & Emily going back to school this year. These girls are his best friends and he loves playing with them. Actually, I had no reason to be nervous at all! He's fine with them leaving, although he does look forward to 3:00 when we can go back to school and get them.

Now he has a new best friend and she's finally realized that he's a lot of fun too. Luke & Lyla are so cute when they play together. Luke loves to build forts with chairs & blankets and Lyla is finally at a stage where she can really play & interact with him. I love hearing them giggle and laugh together.


Luke also loves to play a harmonica and dance around the room. Lyla is always right there behind him dancing too. This little activity will keep them entertained for a long time. When Luke is out of breath all I have to do is put on a CD & they are both ready to dance again. Here's a cute video:

I'm so glad these two get along so well. Only 2 more Sunday's and Lyla will officially be old enough for the nursery at church! YYYEEEEEAAAAAA!!!!!! I'm thinking it will be pretty easy for her to be happy about being in there with Luke there too. He is such a good big brother and I can see these two having a special bond for a really long time!
