2010 Portraits

I missed getting pictures taken on the kids birthdays this year so I decided I better get them taken now before too much time goes by.  I happen to see online a coupon for a portrait studio having a special, only $3.99 a sheet.  Being the frugal Mom that I am, I printed 5 of them and then took each of the kids in one at a time.  It took awhile but worth it.

Lyla was a typical 2 year old and did not want to smile for this strange girl she didn’t know.  I tried bribing her promising to go for ice cream after if she smiled.  At first it still wouldn’t work.  The poor photographer was trying everything to get Lyla to look at her and smile.  At one point Lyla turns to me, points over to her and said, “Why’s she talkin to me?”  Oh Lyla, my little Diva.  We only got 3 shots but I’m grateful we got them.







Ruby decided to fall asleep right after the first picture.  Nothing I did could wake her up until I changed her outfit.  Then she was just mad at me so I’m lucky to have these too.  I’ll take her back for more pictures when she can sit up and smile better.
