Luke Meets Spiderman

Last Saturday I saw in an ad for Party City that the real Spiderman was going to be at a Grand Opening.  I thought that might be something fun to do with Luke.  I didn’t tell him anything, just asked him if he wanted to go to the store with me.

He was a little nervous when he first saw him but then I talked him into getting in line to say hello.  By the time it was his turn, he was excited.  This kid cracks me up…. he walked right up to Spiderman and said, “Hi Spiderman, I’m Luke Skywalker.”  That of course made Spiderman and everyone else in line laugh.  They talked for a minute and then Luke said, “Are you the real Spiderman or is that just a costume?”  Spiderman said, “Are you the real Luke Skywalker or is that just your costume?”  Luke said he was real so Spiderman agreed he was real too.




Then Luke got his autograph and he told Spiderman, “It’s spelled L  U  K  E.”

He had fun and now asks me regularly if we can go back to Party City to see Spiderman again.  I love Luke, he’s my favorite boy!
