Like it or not, here in Arizona we start school in the beginning of August. I don’t really see the logic when it’s still 112 outside but that’s just how it is. Our summer wasn’t too eventful but it still went by too quickly.
Ally is a big 7th grader now.
Emily is excited to be in 5th grade.
Luke & Lyla are really going to miss having their buddies around all day.
Lyla thought she was going to school too. When I dropped off the girls at school she cried, “I wanna go to the party too!”
The next day was Luke’s first day of preschool. He was SO EXCITED!
Again, Lyla thought for sure she was getting in on the fun too.
I’m excited and nervous about this school year. The girls have really great teachers and friends in their classes so I couldn’t ask for more there. This will also be my one year of having 3 little kids at home with me. Preschool is two mornings a week so after this baby is born (only 6 more weeks to go) I will certainly have my hands full.
Today Luke & Lyla discovered how fun it was to play in the bathroom together. Once I got that cleaned up I went into the living room to see all of the toys dumped out across the floor. I pretty much followed them around and repaired all day. It was very easy to get used to having Ally & Emily at home, keeping an eye on these two this summer. Wish me luck!
LOL, giggle...I can only laugh because I've so been there! (and I know you have too...with round one!) Bless your heart. :) Wish we were closer!! The girls looks look great. Good luck to them.
