Her eyes are already clearing up. She had several broken blood vessels which the doctor tells me is from her quick decent through the birth canal. She's gaining weight and keeping me going round the clock, but that's her job, right? With labor being so much easier this time, recovery has not gone as well. Nothing out of the ordinary just really feeling my age this time. I'm getting a lot of help from my Mom and it's been wonderful having L.J. around more to help too. He gets to sleep at night but then takes the morning shift getting the kids off to school and then keeps Ruby to himself for a few hours so I can sleep.
I'm a little slow at getting pictures of her with the other kids so we'll work on that. Lyla is loving her baby sister and even offered to share her princess dress with Ruby! She seems to be handling the change just fine. The other kids adore Ruby too and have to kiss her head the minute they get home from school. She's a keeper!

Amanda: I forgot to say in my last comment how beautiful she is! Hospital baby pictures have really improved over the years since my kids were born. My "baby" turned 21 years old the day Ruby was born. She looks so sweet it almost gets me in the baby mood. I guess I need to get some grandchildren. Congratulations again and I can't wait to see her in person at church.
