Christmas Morning

Better late than never, here are some pictures from our Christmas morning fun...

Not a lot of presents but just enough. Ally got the Harry Potter book series, Emily got a new MP3 player (it's pink), Luke got a Geo Tracks Train set and Lyla got a large stuffed Elmo. We also got a Wii for the family present with lots of games to play.

Emily has had this white board easel for years and it is her favorite thing in the house. She writes on it every day whether she's playing school or practicing her spelling words or leaving me cute notes when she goes to school. This was the note she left for Santa... "Dear Santa, Christmas isn't about the gifts, it's about Jesuses birth. But I love gifts too. Happy New Year. Love, Emily" Of course Santa wrote back... "Thank you for knowing the true meaning of Christmas!! Love, Santa"

Lyla wasn't too sure what to do but she loved ripping the paper.

Ally was on the hunt for more presents.

You can't have the name Luke and not have a Light Saber, right?

Daddy and Luke got right to work building the new train set.

This present came a few days later and should have had a card attached saying, "To: L.J. From: L.J." He started dropping the hints before Christmas that we might need a new TV. He did a LOT of researching and pricing and ended up getting the TV & cabinet from Costco. I never imagined it would be SO big but of course I should have known better. He loves it and the kids love playing the Wii on it too.

Andrew came right over to help L.J. put this together.

How's this for family time?
