No pictures of Philadelphia

Early in June L.J. decided to take a class for his music editing business. The class was for two days and just outside Philadelphia so I tagged along for a nice quiet getaway - just the two of us ;-). We stayed for another two days to do some sight seeing since neither one of us had ever been to that part of the country.

We saw all kinds of famous places in Philly and had a great time. I had my first Philly cheese steak sandwich and loved it! I was taking lots of great pictures and getting excited to post them. Then the second day my camera started acting very funny and would not take any more pictures. I was a little sad but we were about done at that point anyway.

Then I get home and find out that the problem was not my camera but the card. I tried showing the kids our pictures and there is nothing on it!!!!! I know it took the pictures because I would occasionally go back and look at them and delete bad ones. I've tried 3 different computers and they won't even recognize the card. I'm so sad!!!!

If there are any techies out there who can give me suggestions to try and salvage my pictures I would be so grateful! Here are the only two I have from the trip. I took this picture of the Liberty Bell with my cell phone and sent it by text to Grandma's phone for Ally. She had been studying this in school and was very excited for us to see it.

Then after my camera quit I took this with my cell phone too. It's a little diner in downtown Philly and for some reason it looked very familiar to me. I know they have filmed a lot of movies in that area. Anyone have a guess what it could have been in? I'm thinking Spiderman but I'm not positive yet. Maybe Rocky?

Well, I guess I'll save the card and hope that someday we can see what's on it. It was a great trip and I really enjoyed the quite time. We loved being on the East coast again too. We never get tired of looking at big tall green trees. It's not something we see very much of here in Arizona.

  1. I think you're right with the spiderman! So sad about your camera...can you try taking your memory card to Best Buy or somewhere?
