Saguaro Skippers Jump Rope Team

Back in September Emily & Ally decided to try out for a jump rope team at school. They're called the Saguaro Skippers. Both girls made it and have been having a lot of fun. The team has been working hard and performing at events like a U of A vs ASU basketball game and a Coyotes Hockey game. This weekend there was a competition called the Grand Canyon State Games.

We were in a gym at a school in Maricopa, AZ for the entire day on Saturday watching lots of kids jumping rope and having fun. It was a long day but a good experience for the girls. Their team won First Place in Speed Relay for their age group and First Place for Speed Double Dutch in their age group. Everyone was also able to perform an individual Freestyle Routine that they created on their own.

Our very own Emily won Third Place for her routine!! We were so excited for her! Here are two quick videos, less than a minute each, of the girls routines and then some pictures from the day.

Way to go girls!!!
