Well, the Talent Show at school was a success! Both girls did REALLY well! My video of the actual event was not that good though. It was pretty dark in the cafeteria & I was too far back and had to zoom. I decided to record them playing their songs at home again.
About a month ago the girls started taking lessons from a new piano teacher, Janet Frampton. She's in our ward and the girls have had a good time getting to know her better. We're still taking lessons from William too. His touring schedule is really picking up which is a good thing. We just felt like they needed someone who could also help them while he is away. They had a recital today with Janet and here are some songs from the performance.
This first song is Emily playing Long Long Ago. This is the song she played in the Talent Show.
This next song is Emily playing Little Playmates. This was for the recital.
Now here is Ally playing Allegro. She played this for the talent show & the recital.
And last but not least, Ally playing Splashing in the Brook. This was just for the recital.
Well there it is, just like you were there... almost. We're so proud of both of our piano players!
They did great! My boys were both in our talent show, too, and we just went to their recital yesterday. I may have to steal your idea and film them and post it to my blog because it's so cool! :) Good job girls!
